Hello,
I just started capturing MiniDV video from my camcorder to my PC
w/1394 firewire card. It works fine except when I play back the video
on full screen, the video is blurry. At this point, I don't even want
to burn them onto DVDs.

Is there anyway to get a sharp full screen picture when doing the
transfer from camcorder to PC. I'm using Windows Movie Maker to
record.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

Thanks

Usually a computer display will be degraded because of the amount of
data that has to be redrawn from frame to frame. The computer degrades
the quality so it can keep up. If you use Quick time to view the video
there is a setting in the quick time preferences where you can force the
computer to display in high quality. I don't know if you can do that
with Windows Media.
When you output your video or play back through your camera you should
see the original sharpness.
