MPEG2 import into Avid (adrenalin)

Hi,

We were given some mpeg2 files for import into Avid, basically so that
they could be digi-cut to tape.

So far we cannot import them into Avid by any means.

We tried using an mpeg2 to avi option with the Huffy codec, using 2:1
uncompressed, then virtualdub/synth to convert avi to avi (using the
Avid avi codec).

They play on the Adrenaline platform but will not import. Quicktime
Pro will not import the mpeg's nor the avi's.

Can anyone say how this is done?

Hi again - had luck importing the video into Xpress - Adrenaline won't
play ball.
